After a not so good nights rest near the pool at the Green Turtle club, we decided on uncrustables for breakfast and some diving for the day. We headed north to Powell Cay.
John was ready to get spearing!
We ended up over an hour at this spot with the stripes. There was a grouper hole with two large black grouper that we thought we would bring back to the boat. After several attempts each by all the boys, the grouper will live another day. We may have to come back again for another shot before we leave.
Brandy and Gillian checked out the coral, sea fans, and tropical fish.
After diving, we decided to explore some uninhabited islands/beaches.
The boys gave the boat a quick rinse, then it was off to dinner at the Green Turtle Club.
The Green Turtle Club is always a good stop for a meal. Its usually a breakfast stop for us, so this was our first dinner at the GTC. We found a couple of our dollar bills dating back to 2007. Brandy and Chip enjoyed some complimentary Tipsy Turtles while the kids played chess.
Dinner was Bahamian fish and lobster. In true Bahamian form, it was a 2 hour meal and we were toast!
